RE: Mariah Dorn
Dear Dr. XXXXXX-XXXXXXX:
I had the pleasure of meeting with your patient, Mariah Dorn, to discuss her fertility options. She is a 28-year-old, nulligravida with primary infertility of nearly seven years duration. She has a history of irregular cycles and on ultrasound today, she had PCO-appearing ovaries.
We will obtain all routine preconception laboratory testing. Additionally, Ryan will have a semen analysis and Mariah will have a hysterosalpingogram. After the above data have been obtained, more specific recommendations can be made. Likely, we will initiate clomiphene citrate therapy in the very near future.
It is my pleasure to help your patients to reach their family goals. I hope to keep you apprised of her ongoing progress in the very near future.
Michael J. Murray, M.D.

So I have been researching and researching about Clomid and side effects on many pregnancy boards. I have heard of success stories and from women that have tried clomid and others that did with no luck. Just the thought of going through this expense, meds on my body and anxiety makes my chest hurt and takes my breath away. One minute I will be so excited about having a family. Something that comes so easy to most people but has me in total tears that I don't have one or cannot provide one. I can't wait till one day one of these kids around here will be ours, calling us mommy and and daddy, and this website will be filled with pictures of our family and all the "firsts" our little one. I cannot wait till we will share this with all of you.

I found a great Infertility specialist and had my first appointment yesterday. The clinic is in Roseville and is called the Norcal Fertility Medical Clinic (www.ncfmc.com) We talked about a lot of things and he wanted to do a internal ultrasound while I was there and my uterus looked good normal shape and size. He then checked my ovaries. He said Oh see all those lil black dots you have a lot of small hair follicles that are not letting the egg release so your not ovulating each month despite your normal period cycle. This is an easy fix you will put you on Clomid. OMG THATS IT!
