Still updating Landons Christmas this week as I am drastically behind. Ryan and I visit this court each year that has thousands of lights and want to make it a tradition to take Landon each year. Just incase you havent heard of it its worth going to. So If you live in Sacramento go check it out, this Court is located in Orangevale off of Walnut between Madison and Greenback.

The houses are themed and covered in head to toe with lights. The church on Walnut has a live Nativity Scene also. This tradition on Dovewood started between two neighbors trying to out do the other, each year adding more and more lights. Then the other neighbors started to and since 1986 its been a tradition of the Ct. to set up their lights and have a canned food drive for the food bank.

Its always freezing when we walk to Ct, so we got to pull out Landons thick pea coat with his hat and scarf. I think hes pretty cute. Its a rare occasion to wear a thick jacket here in Sacramento, this year was a little different, in fact this was the first time it had snowed here in about 10 years. I think its rather cool that I get to tell Landon it snowed the year of his 1st Christmas.

Our Friends Katie and Travis and their daughter Emma and Damon and Danielle with their daughter Gabby also expecting another daughter Alexis in April rode with us to Dovewood. Next year I think we will have to add in some hot chocolate and it would be another perfect night leading up to Christmas.
